Established in 2014, Roshan Learning Center provides refugees in Jakarta with a safe learning space where they can thrive in a supportive community and pursue a brighter future through education.

Roshan meets a critical gap as nearly 14,000 refugees in Indonesia wait indefinitely for resettlement in another country, without access to formal education in Indonesia, due to documentation and legal barriers.

Great Coffee for a Great Cause

In 2019, Roshan Roast was established as a social enterprise of Roshan Learning Center. Partnering with local roasters, Roshan Roast sells fresh Indonesian single origin and blend whole beans and ground coffee. The income generated through Roshan Roast is used to fund the learning activities at Roshan. This initiative also provides a space for professional development and mentoring for its refugee apprentice.
