Launched in 2019, Bersama is YICF’s first program designed to serve both refugees and Indonesians.
The mission of Bersama is to provide a life-changing, vocational learning experience for unemployed Indonesians and refugees, through a “work-learn-belong” model. Over 70% of refugees in Indonesia are adults with no right to local employment, and Indonesia has the second-highest rate of youth unemployment in Southeast Asia (13%).

Belong: Unique multicultural coworking comm
*Bersama partners with overseas companies to source work for members, due to Indonesian regulations prohibiting local employment for refugees.
