Established in 2012, LIFE focuses on helping children and youth break out of generational cycles of poverty through education while building authentic relationships with the families and communities served.
An estimated 7,000 individuals and 3,000 families live and work at Bantar Gebang as waste-pickers who typically have severely limited access to education and social services due to low levels of literacy, documentation issues, and social marginalization.
